Many cities around the world offer public drinking fountains. To make it easy to find, Fountain Finder app was created. I hope this app will become your trusted companion to stay hydrated around the world and reduce plastic waste from single use water bottles.
As with the use of every app, there's a privacy policy that is designed to provide you with a transparent explanation of how and why personal and other data is collected, used and shared when using Fountain Finder. Please read this privacy policy carefully before using Fountain Finder.
The provider of Fountain Finder, the Fountain Finder app, the Fountain Finder website and all sub-pages (hereinafter referred to as "Fountain Finder", or "app", or "website") is Lorenz Vercauteren-Seghers, Turbinenstrasse 60, 8005 Zürich, Switzerland (hereinafter referred to as "the provider").
Minors are not allowed to register, or only with the express permission of their legal guardian (with the corresponding declaration of consent to these General Terms and Conditions).
This privacy policy can be adapted or edited by Lorenz Vercauteren-Seghers at any time. The current version of this Privacy Policy can and should be accessed by you via the App's settings at regular intervals.

With this feature it will be easier to find a nearby fountain. If such access to the app is not permitted, the app will be less user friendly. A User's location will never be stored and will remain visible only for the user.
In the download process of the App Store (hereinafter referred to as "store"), data such as your Device ID, product page views, click behavior, download processes, in-app purchases, etc. are stored by Apple for statistical and analytical purposes. The store may also store this data outside Switzerland or the Europe Union (including in the USA). If you do not wish the third party provider to store the data provided, you should refrain from using the store or downloading apps. Please refer to the terms and conditions and privacy policy of Apple.

You consent to the collection of data by the provider and its transfer to Apple. If you do not want the third party provider to store your data, you are not allowed to send emails to the provider.
To have your own data deleted by the provider or Apple, you can request this at any time by sending an email to lorenz.vs@icloud.com (with the note "Delete data app at iCloud"). If you do not do so, the data will be deleted at the latest after the legally required retention periods. You can inform yourself about your stored personal data, have it corrected or deleted (to the extent permitted by law) by e-mail to lorenz.vs@icloud.com
You can withdraw your consent to the future collection, storage and use of your personal data by sending an e-mail to lorenz.vs@fountainfinderapp.com so that no further collection, storage and use of your personal data takes place.
Should one or more provisions of these data protection provisions be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected. Ineffective provisions shall be replaced by provisions which come as close as possible to the intended economic purpose of the ineffective provision.
